Byala is situated at the administrative border of districts Varna and Burgas. The closest town to it is Obzor at 5 km away. Varna is at 56 km to the north from Byala, and Burgas is at 70 km southward. Nearby villages are Rudnik and Dyulino.

At 20 km southward is Irakli camping, an untouched natural spot on the Bulgarian coast.

The beach of Byala is extremely clean. This is owed to the fact that the beach is at sufficient distance from the large administrative centres Varna and Burgas. The combination of mountain- and sea climate makes Byala a wonderful holiday spot. Near to Byala is Byala Reka vicinity. One of the spots on the Bulgarian Black sea coast where nature is in its most natural state.
